Comrades For Cancer

Citation Property Group has proudly donated $1000 towards Jim Castiglione and Adrian Bailey’s participation in the “
” race, in an effort to assist the Child Cancer Foundation, whose purpose is to support families with cancer.
The Comrades is an ultra marathon known as one of the world's most grueling endurance races. It is a 90km road run between Durban and Pietermaritzburg, South Africa held on 16 June 2006. Every year the race is run alternately between Durban (sea level) and Pietermaritzburg (650masl). This year is the "Up Run" - a steady climb uphill from Durban to Pietermaritzburg.
Jim and Adrian’s aim is to publicize the training and the race, in an effort to raise donations from people and businesses locally, nationally and internationally to support the Child Cancer Foundation. The campaign consists of $2.50 per kilometer each (i.e. $5 per km jointly) so that individual donations do not exceed $450.
The Foundation has agreed that funding raised during their "Comrades for Cancer" campaign will go to help families in Queenstown, and the wider Wakatipu, Otago and Southland regions.
